Service Description
If two people drop out and gives more than 72 hrs notice the price will revert to private lesson price with the excess paid before or at the time of the lesson. If the riders are not off the lead rein the success of this booking depends upon the willingness of the parents to lead their children on ponies in a group lesson or competent friends age over 13 yrs to lead their adult friends. . The big change and need for parents to lead is because of the recent insurance companies directive that children under the age of thirteen cannot help lead ponies in lead rein lessons. This means our w/e Saddle Club children can only help in lead rein lessons if they are age 13yrs and over. If you are unable to lead all riders not off the lead rein please either do not bookThis semirpivate lesson, but instead book a private lesson with Holly, Pearl or Lisa but not with Alex, or message us to look to arrange a leader during the lesson. The supplement for a leader in a half hour lesson is £10 and a forty five minute lesson is £15.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Policy: unless 72 hours notice of cancellation is given the full lesson fee is payable. This mirrors general business practice and allows us to manage and plan staff time. The only accepted method of cancellation is via the notification form on the yellow pop up notice that comes up after clicking the book online tab. We charge a £3 admin fee for all booking cancellations. However, it is free to move your lesson as long as you move your lesson within the time frame of our cancellation policy. Please note: when cancelling a lesson / hack, it may take up to 14 days to process your refund. The yard horse weight limits are based on measured dressed ready to ride. For riders the weight limit is 12st 7lb (79kg) If a lesson is booked and the declared weight does not match the weight measured at the yard and the weight carrying capacity of the allocated horse, then the lesson cannot proceed and the lesson fee is forfeit. Deer control and venison - we love seeing the wild deer at Bulby who keep the fields in good heart and the ragwort at bay and happily help themselves to the ring feeder haylage and the salt licks so they are in fine fettle. To control numbers we have started to harvest some and so we have venison for sale. It is butchered locally so low food miles (16), it is grass and hedgerow grown, lean and what fats there are are the good ones. We do not use sprays on the land and this is true field to fork food.
