"My grandparents introduced me to horses at a local show in Kenilworth. From then on riding lessons became the highlight of my week. After getting married and moving to Bulby I rekindled my passion for horses and was introduced to the world of eventing. The smell of horses, hay and leather always evoke happy childhood memories."

"Daughter of owner, Sue, I have been very lucky to grow up at Bulby. Many of the lovely ponies that I learned to ride on, who fuelled my passion for horses and eventing, are still with us today.
I have been supported hugely by the yard in obtaining my Pony Club A Test, BHS AI and BHS Stage 4, and love sharing knowledge, teaching and watching clients progress.
In my final year of University study, I am more a friendly face, social media whizz and yard advisor than coach."
BHSI, Stage 5 Coach
Pony Club Coach of the year 2018
BHS and staff coach and Pony Club Assessor
"I have competed in all major disciplines, Dressage, Eventing and Show Jumping. I have had a great life competing and coaching in Hong Kong, Greece, Italy as well as here in UK. Seeing riders gaining personal pleasure from their horse or riders representing their country and knowing I have been a small part of their journey is very fulfilling."

"I gained my BHSAI in 2002 and have taught in riding schools and been a freelance coach and eventing competitor for many years. With a new career in the NHS I have returned to teaching part time at Bulby."
"I started my career as a Dementia Specialist. After my children grew up decided to make my hobby of training gun dogs and dog obedience into a career and went back to owning horses.
I am a qualified gun dog trainer and also hold a certificate in human first aid."
"Having learnt to ride at 4yrs old horses have always been my first love. My passion is dressage having competed a number of horses up to PSG. Training young horses and breeding is one of my favourite things about working in the world of horses. And teaching clients to achieve what they think is an unachievable goal always makes my day."
Sophie C's biopic coming soon.
An original Bulbian, Sophie grew up and learned to ride at Bulby and then joined the team in 2016.
Sophie knows the yard and the horses inside out. We were delighted when she returned to the Bulby EC to add the great horsey outdoors in her role at Bulby to her office career.

"" I had my first riding lesson at Bulby in November 2008 and have continued riding since. I bought Jack in 2015 who was raised at Bulby. We have gone onto unaffiliated dressage, show jumping and cross competitions. I left Bulby in 2018 to do Early Years Training but have now returned. I am a qualified Early Years Educator and Teaching Assistant. I love spending time with the children and sharing my knowledge with them!"
"From the age of 14 free time was spent volunteering at riding schools to gain experience. I love all aspects of horse care (even mucking out!). Progressing to be a member of staff at Bulby I have achieved my BHS Stage 2 in Complete Horsemanship Stage 3 is the next goal. Now studying Veterinary Medicine at University, I intend to spend the rest of my life caring for animals but horses will always have my heart!"

"I have been riding for forty six years, and as a teenager worked in riding schools, hunting, livery and breeders' yards. My children started their riding at Bulby and then had their own show ponies. I have youngsters for the past four years, backing and schooling them and riding at the stud associated with the livery yard."

I am fortunate to have been around horses and ponies most of my life and owned my own for over 30 years. I’ve helped out at riding schools, a stud farm and private Dressage/hunting yard and now it’s a real pleasure to be able to volunteer at Bulby, after a number of years without my own. I started lessons again last summer and volunteering a month ago. Being around horses on this friendly yard has made me appreciate how much I’ve missed having a horse. Thank you Bulby.
Gemma has many years of experience in the horse industry a strong background in showing preparing and qualifying show horses for HOYS. We are delighted that she has returned to the yard to run Sataruday afternoon yards.
Leah is new to the team having returned to her favourite area following an Equine Level 3 course at Reaseheath College in Shropshire. She is passionate about horses and whilst studying also worked part time at a thoroughbred stud.
She is now working part time aiming for BHS qualifications at Bulby whilst finishing off final assignments for her degree.
