"My grandparents introduced me to horses at a local show in Kenilworth. From then on riding lessons became the highlight of my week. After getting married and moving to Bulby I rekindled my passion for horses and was introduced to the world of eventing. The smell of horses, hay and leather always evokes happy childhood memories."

Pony Club AH Test

BHS Stage 3, Stage 2 Coach

Coach & Yard Advisor

"I grew up at Bulby as a Saddle Club Member and haven't stopped being potty about ponies since!

Since becoming a part of the Bulby team in 2017 I have achieved my BHS Stage 3 and BHS Stage 2 Coach and my PC AH Test.

After 20 years of riding, Bulby enabled me to start my coaching career, which I thoroughly enjoy."

Pony Club A Test

BHS Stage 4, BHSAI

"Daughter of owner, Sue, I have been very lucky to grow up at Bulby. Many of the lovely ponies that I learned to ride on, who fuelled my passion for horses and eventing, are still with us today.

I have been supported hugely by the yard in obtaining my Pony Club A Test, BHS AI and BHS Stage 4, and love sharing knowledge, teaching and watching clients progress.

After an MPhil at Cambridge and a new job in investment, I am more a friendly face, social media whizz and yard advisor than coach."

BHSI, Stage 5 Coach

Pony Club Coach of the year 2018

BHS and staff coach and Pony Club Assessor

"I have competed in all major disciplines, Dressage, Eventing and Show Jumping. I have had a great life competing and coaching in Hong Kong, Greece, Italy as well as here in UK. Seeing riders gaining personal pleasure from their horse or riders representing their country and knowing I have been a small part of their journey is very fulfilling."

'I have had a love of horses all my and have ridden since I was five years old. I enjoy competing in both eventing and dressage.

I am a BHS Intermediate instructor and enjoy coaching all ages and abilities. Working on the correct foundations to facilitate knowledge and understanding to develop the partnership between horse and rider.

I am a new addition to the team joining  Bulby at the end of June

"Having learnt to ride at 4yrs old horses have always been my first love. My passion is dressage having competed a number of horses up to PSG. Training young horses and breeding is one of my favourite things about working in the world of horses. And teaching clients to achieve what they think is an unachievable goal always makes my day."

"I have been riding for forty six years, and as a teenager worked in riding schools, hunting, livery and breeders' yards. My children started their riding at Bulby and then had their own show ponies. I have youngsters for the past four years, backing and schooling them and riding at the stud associated with the livery yard."

Sarah works behind the scenes keeping our accounts in order.

"" I had my first riding lesson at Bulby in November 2008 and have continued riding since. I bought Jack in 2015 who was raised at Bulby. We have gone onto unaffiliated dressage, show jumping and cross competitions. I left Bulby in 2018 to do Early Years Training but have now returned. I am a qualified Early Years Educator and Teaching Assistant. I love spending time with the children and sharing my knowledge with them!"

Yas, a returner to the Bulby team,  did her NVQ level 2 Apprenticeship at Bulby eight or so years ago. She has a passion for natural horsemanship and loves training horses to load. We are delighted to have her back at Bulby and look forward to her working with our horses and mixing it with competition grooming.
