Dutch Warmblood, Roberto is a retired advanced eventer, he was Open Pony Club eventing Champion in 2019. He loves the fuss and attention from the Bulby team and the Saddle Clubbers and is a staff escort horse for hacks.
Lily 15.3hh
Home bred Lily, is a Thoroughbred, who has had three foals, has returned to ridden work and has been building up fitness and has joined the fabulous roster of equines at the Riding School. She has competed in British Eventing up to two star with wins right through to Novice She is ideal for our more advanced riders. She is now owned by Sarah, now an ex instructor who has moved away to work on a SJ competition yard but who returns on Mondays to look after horses and yards. Lily remains at Bulby on working livery for our more advanced riders to enjoy.

Alfie is the playful boy on the block. A real character, he is a chunky little man and an ex Burghley Pony Club pony with so much to give. He has nwo adopted Ava as his person whose family have taken him on lease.
Buster 11.2hh
Bulby original, Buster, has taught lots of children to ride. His unique chocolate spot on his nose lets you know he likes treats.
Dino 12hh
Once a national medal winning polocrosse pony, Dino is now a steadier fellow, still keen to take his jockey jumping but sweet enough to be a lead rein pony with a great big mane that is ideal for the beginner to hold on to.

Beautiful amber eyed girl, Nell, is a good second ridden pony for adults and children wanting to develop their riding on the flat and over jumps.
Freddie 13.1hh
Friendly flea-bitten Freddie is now a true Bulbyan, thanks to his wonderful owners the Hastings who lent him to us then let us buy him. He has settled in really well, loving teaching the children at Bulby. He is adored by and adores Edie and family who have had him on lease but he is now lookng for another human to adopt now that long legged Edie has been adopted by Tip. He still, of course, gets lots of pampering from Edie.

Ex Burghley Pony Club pony bright bay boy Tip is established as a firm favourite on the Bulby riding roster. Suitable for teenagers and light adults to bring on their riding. He is an experienced competition pony who loves jumping. He is now leased by Edie and her family and is enjoying the extra pampering. ​​

A friendly first ridden pony who is already a great favourite already receiving fuss and admiration from the Saddle Clubbers with a lovely groom and tail brush. She has behaved impeccably in the manège and been seen admiring the beautiful chunky pony she can see in the mirrors

Black Cob. Lady, on loan to us from Danielle and family, is a lovely leg in each corner fabulous lead rein pony and junior intermediate ride. She moves well and loves jumping. She is also loving the fuss and attention from the Bulby Team and the Saddle Clubbers. Lady was adopted by Imogen as a leaser and is now looking for another human to fuss her.

Primrose 14hh
New arrival fourteen year old Primrose (pony) is on full livery at Bulby. Owned by Billie and daughter Primrose they are planning their campaign to get Primrose and Primrose Pony out competing. She has completed her field isolation with pony friends in sight and is now ready to make friends with all of the mares.
Bumble 13.3hh
New arrival eleven year old Bumble is on DIY Livery. Owned by Gracie who locums for us and on loan to Lydia one of our Bulby staff team it is clear they are going to have some fun together. He is settling in on isolation for two weeks before joining the geldings for his social time.
Bentley 16.2hh
New arrival three year old Bentley is on DIY Livery. Owned by Sarah our book keeper. Bentley's job is to grow and continue to be the friendly getting bigger giant he is. The photo' is Bentley loading after great work from Yasmin Morgan-Kay who is patient and professional loading youngsters and did the job on their moving day. He has Fifi for company and he is not owut of isolation and will join the gelding herd soon on the paddocks at Bulby.

New arrival two year old Fifi is on DIY Livery. Owned by Sarah her job is to grow and turn into a wonderful dressage horse. Bred from dressage lines she already moves beautifully.The photo' is Fifi loading to join Bentley after great work from Yasmin Morgan-Kay who is patient and professional loading youngsters and did the job on their moving day. She is settling in with Bentley for company, has completed her isolation with him on the paddocks at Bulby and will soon be joining the mare herd.

Thoroughbred, Akela has migrated out of the riding school having moved to Bulby from Wales. He is a laid back lovely mover happily in the ownership of Lydia, a staff member, and he is loving the fuss. and attention he gets. .

New Forest Pony Bonnie is a beautiful young mare owned by Rebecca and Poppy. Poppy is loving her journey supported by in house and visiting coaches as they train together to live their dream. Poppy has completed her C Test and will be back putting time in with Bonnie when school examse are over.

RIP dear Oscar Friday 1st May age 28. Much loved and a firm favourite with adults and children, Oscar always wanted to please. He was an ex Cottesmore Pony Club competition pony and loved to jump. He was a relaxed guy with a lot to give. He had been on loan to us for many years from Michelle and family. Many thanks Michelle for so many wonderful years of Oscar.

RIP Dear Owen, 28 years old. 18 years in the family and one of Di's amazing ponies, Softie - Owen was a confidence giving superstar, he was a Burghley Pony Club pony and then was a firm yard favourite who loved being fussed. He will be greatly missed. PTS 28th November 2025

RIP dear Spice, PTS age 29 on 16.10.2025. Retired top Pony Trials pony Spice, who was short listed twice for the GB team. His latest role was as field uncle to four year old Marco. Spice is loved by us all including leasing client Lydia. He competed at BE Novice level so knew all the moves. Much adored. Good bye dear Spiccle.
Shadow 13.1hh
RIP Dear Shadow. After 31 years and most of them at Bulby Shadow was put to sleep on 20th August. As an ex competition jumping pony, Shadow loved to flick his toes and jump and he was perfect on the lead rein and as a first ridden pony. He taught so many children to ride & he was so rewarding when you found the right buttons!
Shadow was looked after beautifully and lovingly by his human, Lyda who with her parents leased him and loved him right to his last breath.
